.308 AR Assembled Upper (Complete except charging handle and BCG)

Hey everyone,

I’ve got an assembled upper for a .308 AR for sale. I bought the rifle new last January, upgrading along the way, and ended up winning a matched Aero .308 receiver set. I had planned on keeping this as a more lightweight backup upper, but all it’s done is collect dust in the safe. I’ve put 40 rounds down range through the barrel, 20 for break in and another box my last range trip with it. The barrel shoots well and averaged 1 to 1.5” groups for me. I’m not really looking at trades right now, but will be more than happy to consider them if you have something you want to offer up. There are a ton of guns out there I’m sure I need/want, and I just haven’t realized it yet! I am set on shotguns though. The thing that jumps to mind would be a Ruger American Predator in 6.5 creedmore, or a Ruger American Magnum in .300 win mag.

The upper is a Bushmaster XM10 flat top receiver, with a 16” 1:10”RH twist barrel, mid length gas system, A2 flash hider, and low profile gas block. The receiver also has the forward assist and ejection port/ dust cover, delta ring mid length round two-piece handguards, and triangular endcap. Everything except the dust cover and gas block is factory from Bushmaster. The dust cover is a Strike Industries Ultimate Dust Cover, and the gas block is an Ergo low profile that will allow installation of 99% of free float handguards. If you prefer Iron sights, the barrel came with an A2 style gas block and is drilled to accept the A2 taper pins. The upper has no rust, and has been cleaned after every range trip. Throw this on a complete lower with a charging handle and BCG, and you’d have a great lightweight home defense rifle/ all-around hunting rifle for hogs/ deer/ mule deer/ etc…
